this is a question based around not having a premium capacity
We have a dev workspace containing dataflows, datasets, reports and dashboards
We work in dev workspace. people test in the dev app.
Without the deployment pipelines (Which I believe cant move dataflows at the moment anyway)
What is the best way of copying all your contect across to the Prod workspace.
Obviously with reports and datasets you can just publish to the workspace but what about dataflows and dashboards?
With Dataflows you will have to export the .json file for all your dataflows and re import them into your prod workspace using new dataflow -> import model -> point to the exported json file
Unless you are using same datasource for Dev and Prod. You'd need to edit the json to point to your prod datasource before importing.
For other cases when either native queries or incremental refresh is enabled then its more involved than export and importing json.
"With Dataflows you will have to export the .json file for all your dataflows and re import them into your prod workspace using new dataflow -> import model -> point to the exported json file"
I think mine are fairly simple. And I can see you can click on ... next to the JSON file and export JSON.
So the last bit of the puzzle is the dashboards. is there a simple way of coping dashboads too?
