Hi all,
I just finished a data engineering project in which I :
Instead of having to build a website and show the data there, I want to create a Power BI report which is publically available. I want to be able to share the link to all my users and hope to attract a sponsor (I would simply show the logo of the sponsor in the Power BI report). However: I want that every user (even without a power bi account) can interact with the dashboard, but I don't want users to be able to download all the underlying data.
What kind of Powler BI do I need for this and how do I set this up in Power BI service?
Thus to clarify: I want to show my data in a nice dashboard on a web page. Instead of going to the hassle to create a website I think it would be a way more nice, clean solution to use a publically available Power BI web page for showing my data. How to set this up looking at what licence, how to implement so that people can access the report without having a Power BI report, and not being able to download the data.

Hi. There is a free feature called Publish to Web that let's you create a public link that anyone with the link can access. Also if you want to add it in a custom web site you can add it as an iframe html tag.
You can read how to generate it, prerequisites and limitations in the following doc: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-publish-to-web
You can do it with a Fabric Free or PowerBi Free license in "My Workspace" at Power Bi Service.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
