Create Trend with no timestamp

Hi,

I am very new to PowerBI and generating dashboards in this manner so please bare with me.

I am pulling RAM Usage information out a SCVMM 2012 R2 sql database and combining it together with a sql query. There is no timestamp associated with this data and I'm wondering if i can somehow insert a timestamp or something similar when i pull the information to create a trend.

@goffries In data modelling in powerbi desktop, create a new measure called RefreshDateTime and write DAX function of now or today.

So anytime you update your dataset this measure will be updated with current date and time.
