Greetings, Power BI Community.
I want to make sure that I have this right...
Currently, I have an On-Premises Data Gateway setup on a on-site server that is connecting Service to an on-site SQL server. Everything is running great. Soon, the organization in which I am employed will be moving to a new ERP system that will be running off a remote cloud SQL server. From a Desktop point of view, they will be providing me with a VPN tunnel to connect to the data. Service and schedule refresh wise, I will need the software company to install a Gateway on a machine in their environment, correct?
Thank you for your help.
