Connect to the XMLA endpoint of a shared Power BI Dataset using Power Pivot

We are trying to connect to the XMLA endpoint of a shared Power BI Dataset using Power Pivot. While trying to connect the connection string shows as valid, however once we add the MDX query, it says Connection String is invalid
The steps that we followed are as below:

  1. Open Power Pivot. Click on get external data->  from other sources.

2. Select Others (OLEDB/ODBC) source.

3. Add the Connection  String as shown below with user id as blank.

4. Update the MDX query and validate it.

5.Click on Finish and got the below error.

Can you help in this regard?

Tried using that, but it don't ask OAuth, it only has Windows and SQL server auth as the option

Yes, I noticed that too while playing with this yesterday.  Checking other options.  I know that the Excel connector to Power BI datasets differs from the usual XMLA endpoint syntax. So maybe there is a hint on how to do it that way.

Can you use the native Analysis Services connection instead of the handcrafted OLEDB/ODBC?
