Hello,
I am planning on hosting my SQL database in AWS RDS.
Once the report has been published from the PBI Desktop to the Service, what do I need to do so that the refreshes can take place without using a gateway.
So far in my research only Azure SQL does not require a gateway.
There used to be a document on Microsoft's website which had the information about which data sources do not require a gateway and now I am unable to find it.
Is there anyway that I can host my SQL database in AWS RDS and perform refreshes on PBI Service without having to use a gateway?
If you require any further information, please let me know.

Hi @visheshjain ,
Based on the current capabilities of Power BI Service and as of my latest knowledge, it is required to use an on-premises data gateway to refresh datasets from SQL databases hosted on AWS RDS.
Regarding the documentation you mentioned about which data sources don't require a gateway, please refer to the following link.
