Can we pop up a text box in report if the value of a card/ field is zero?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hey @patelvatsal1621 ,
I'm not sure what you mean by "pop out" a text box, if a value is zero.
Basically, it's not possible to control the visibility/behavior of visuals using DAX (the only "programming" language available at the moment inside a report).
We just can control the content.
For this reason I'm using a card visual and a 2nd measure that looks like this:
second measure = if( [first measure] == 0 , "Show some text" , "" )
if you are wondering about the ==, this article explains how to enforce strict comparison: Strictly equal to (==) – DAX Guide
Hopefully, this helps to tackle your challenge.
Regards,
Tom
