Hi Guys,
I am hoping someone can guide me on this issue. I have a composite model where one source is semantic model, sharepoint and Power BI dataflows. Everything was working fine until where any new measures that uses a combination of calculation from semantic model and sharepoint results in blankn result in Power BI Service whereas the desktop has the correct result. I have made sure all datasources have the same privacy settings. I own the semantic model as well. Can anyone please point me in the right direction .
Thanks
@Anonymous Is your sharepoint table in Dual mode?
@Anonymous Yeah, that follows. I don't think SharePoint supports DirectQuery so you can't switch your import mode table to Dual, it has to start as DirectQuery to be able to switch it to Dual. Hmm. Will need to test this and see if I can replicate. Do you have an example of the type of calculation you are trying to perform?
@Greg_Deckler
It's a fairly simple calculation and it was working fine in service up until yesterday as well. The dax is
SUMX(ProjectsTable(Part of semantic model), sum(Sharepoint[forecast])* min(ProjectsTable[Percentage]))
Somewhere I feel it is due to privacy issues as the semantic model refreshes due to privacy and I fixed it making sure everything is organinzational. I also made sure sharepoint and dataflow is set to organinzational.
