Change the data type of a column in DirectQuery mode from "text" to "number" with a dataflow source

Hi !

I have a problem and hope you'll help me find a solution.

I'm using a dataflow as the datasource and i have a column named 'Order_value' in the text format, i want to change it to the number format which is not "possible" in DirectQuery mode. 

I've already tried changing it in the modeling function without success.

You need to change the column type at sosurce level. In your case, do the change in the Data Flow.

Unfortunately i'm not the owner of the dataflow and i can't do the change at that scale
