Change semantic model source in Service for a live report

Hi All,

I created an adhoc analysis and report connecting to Test workspace semantic model. When I deploy to other workspace, it still points to original test workspace semantic model. Is there any way to change source of Live reports created in PBI Service?

No, I had tried editing model but it doesn't give change to data source option.

This is what I did:- 

1. Created Adhoc report  in Test Workspace using "Explore report data"

2. Saved to Dev workspace. 

Now when I open in edit mode in Dev workspace, I am unable to change source of report to Dev semantic model.

Deployment Pipeline structure:
 Dev -> Test -> Prod

uhm, you followed a strange path, IMHO.
I would startover from downloading the report, editing from the desktop and uploading back to DEV.

you must have semantic model in DEV also and use pipelines to move them from one stage to another.
I would not "cross" environments.

Yes, I created adhoc report to analyze an issue in Test workspace and wanted to move it back in Dev to use for regression testing in future releases.  

I am assuming these will be frequent case when data exploration is done on production data and want to save it in Dev workspace for development testing as well.

via deployment pipeline?
