Change parameter from query URL

I have a PowerBI report that pulls data from Azure DevOps using an OData query. In my dekstop data I created a parameter called 'Project' This parameter is used in my odata query:

https://analytics.dev.azure.com/{redacted org}/{redacted team}/_odata/v3.0-preview/WorkItems?$filter=WorkItemType eq 'Bug' and contains({CustomField}, [Project])

I am wondering if it's possible to adjust that parameter value once the app is published on the service. In this case, I'd like to be able to navigate to the report URL and pass it something like "https://app.powerbi.com/reportinfo?Project={some value}" and it use the passed in parameter to pull the data from ADS using that Odata feed

Is this possible?

You cannot pass a value from the user. The only option would be to load all the parameter into the file, then you can have a slicer to select one. Otherwise you would need some custom visual coding.

You change the parameter in the app settings.,Go to the DATASETS, go to the dataset settings and look under "Parameters". It's in the same place you can schedule refresh.

Note: If using parameters in a URL using Web.Contents function, you will need to separate to the parameter and add to relative path. See:
