Hello.
It is the first time I post asking for assistance in PowerBI, but I am facing an issue for which I have found no search results:
I have a moderately large dataset from which 20+ reports have been created. All tables susceptible of having incremental refresh enabled do have it, and query folding is being respected in all of them. I have set a date range in PowerBI Desktop of RangeStart = 2021-12-01 and RangeEnd = 2021-12-31.
Existing reports behave as intended, but if I attempt to create a new report in the web service by saving a copy of an existing one (to use as template), this report will only display data between RangeStart and RangeEnd, regardless of its filters. It is worth mentioning that the data to be displayed on these reports is from the last calendar month, therefore when the reports are created, they display no data (as the date filter becomes 2021-11-01 to 2021-11-30, outside of incremental refresh parameters). The issue is that, once they are saved and the dataset refreshed, this behavior persists.
I have tried to trigger a manual refresh of the dataset, and even to re-publish it, with identical results.
"I attempt to create a new report in the web service by saving a copy of an existing one (to use as template),"
Can you please explain in a bit more detail what you are doing in which sequence?
