Certain Visuals not updating after data refresh

Hey All,

so issue is certain visuals arent updating after data refresh but the numbers do.

Service Now API - SQL Server - Desktop PBIX - Fabric is the flow. When data refresh the numbers will update but visuals that I have changed will not, I made the X Axis lines darker on a chart and it doesnt update.

Any help is apperciated. Already checked several post. Ctrl f5 doesnt update them either.

What do you mean by the numbers will update but the visuals do not?  Are you saying that the underlying data updates, but nothing changes on the report canvas?

Is your pbix report file a thin report or does it contain the semantic model?  Is your semantic model built off data flows or is it directly querying the sql server?  Do you have a data gateway set up?

Yes so like the numbers change on the report, But if I make a graphic change lets say in changing the colors of something, it doesnt update. PBIX contains a semantic model direct query from a sql server, Gateway is set up.

So, formatting changes are not sticking?  I’ve seen this happen over the years for a variety of reasons.  However, I have never seen it when using a custom theme.   If you are making individual color decisions on visuals I would suggest not doing that and instead creating a custom theme and applying that to your report.
