Cant refresh gateway connection with SQL and SharePoint list

Hi,

Previously, I have 2 data sources in my dashboard: SharePoint list and SQL server on-premise data gateway. I tried to schedule and refresh now on my dataset but I have an error below:

I already check on my dataset settings

Any suggestions on what we can do to get past this issue?

Hi. This is weird. I can think about two things.

First, I have never seen a sharepoint connection with gateway. You can try removing that source connection (or at least remove the skip connection because skiping can produce issues) from gateway and just configure its credentials in data source settings. In order to refresh a dataset with cloud and onpremise data you need to check the following option in the "manage gateway" menu.

That should allow to configure a schedule refresh with Sharepoint credentials and not gateway.

Second, if all continue falling you can have the report broken in Service. Try changing the pbix file name and publish again. If there was a cache in Power Bi Service with the report broken that should fix it. The only issue about this is that if you had already shared the report with people you might need to do it again. If you have added people to workspace then you are fine.

I hope that helps,

An important step which is missed in this response is to clear the browser cache before applying the changes

Hi @ibarrau ,

You're right, after I removed the gateway connection on the Sharepoint and configured the credentials in the data source, manual and automatic refreshes can be run.
