Hello,
I am trying to overwrite reports that are connected to a Power BI dataset but I am always getting an error when publishing the updated one. I encountered this error before and I thought it's been fixed or so I thought. My workaround was to delete the existing reports in the service but there are just way too many to be going down that path and this doesn't involve just a single workspace. And nope, the reports are not being edited online while trying to publish.
@danextian Quite possibly a transient issue with your tenant. If you have a Pro license, you could open a support ticket. You could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
And if it is not there, then you could post it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
Hi Greg,
Thanks for the reply. It appears to be an issue for some of the reports but not all. Some reports connected to the same dataset I can just overwrite but there are those that no matter how many times I try just can't.
