Can't refresh a report based on OpenData

Hi to all,

a collegue has made a nice report based on a lot of OpenData (accessed with CSV.Open(Web.Content()) and some data published on a Dropbox. The report updates correctly on Power BI Desktop, but there is no way to update it through Power BI Service. We get a message that the scheduled refresh is disabled, because we are missing a credential (I'll post here the message, it's in italian, but that's what it says).

However, when we go to check in the Settings, there is no way to set any credentials.
I believe there is no dynamic URL (I GUESS), any ideas?

Thank you

Daniele

Hi @daniele_tiles

I think your Power Bi service trying to connect to the dropbox is the issue.

check these threads, it might help.

Hi aj973,

thank you for your answer: I believe we've found the problems:

  1. There is one connection that use the HTML(Legacy) mode, which is Web.Page(Web.Contents
  2. There is a one connection that scrapes a a website which has got a parameter in the URL.

I believe this 2 connections are the problem, because when we deleted the tables and published, we were able to see and set the credentials for all the other URLS
