Can't export data from pinned live page

I have a pinned live page on my dashboard, however when I go to the ellipsis to export the data, it does not appear (nor does focus mode or insights). Is this an error or by design?

Actually, it's by design that export data not available in pinned live page now. You can vote on this same idea: Ability to export data from visuals in live page that is pinned to dashboard.

It would appear to me that this is by design, because when you pin a live page, it is different from pinning a tile. I am going to make an educated guess that when you export data from a dashboard tile, it has only one dataset associated to it. Whilst with a live page it has multiple datasets in the page, so it would not know which one to export.

The tile would have all the properties you would expect to see for a dashboard tile (Related Insights, Pin, Export Data, Delete, etc)

If you are wanting to export the data, you will have to go into the actual report and then you can export the data from the selected visual or table.
