Hi all,
I hope that we can get the supporting directly from Microsoft. We already raised a ticket, but after 1 week....can't solve this issue
Situation:
1. In our company, the buyer (from Finance Dept.) will buy the license - They will pay for it, but they never use BI.
2. They bought a license many times ago for Power BI Pro & Pre
3. Last week, after buying some user account BI. The problem happened =>
Issue:
1. We got 5 license Pre. But the list just show 04 account and show (0/5) . It mean 5 user account is assigned .....missing 01 user account
2. In Power BI Pro, we can't assgin the license, and got the message as below
Support Ticket : Just send us some guidline from microsoft website ....But, we can't touch, can't chose the uses ...It's the same for buyer, Power BI Admin & Power BI Global Admin
Our investigation:
1. Power BI Pre: The missing account didn't show in Power BI Admin control panel . But, when we use Azure portal, we can see it. It is account of buyer (can not assign in azure for both admin BI & Global)
2. Power BI Pro: The buyer Account is alos appear in BI Pro list
=> Duplicate assigment can be cause of issue
3. Why BI admin and Global admin can't assign ? => We checked, and think that buying process is classified as self-service. So, authorization of admin is limitation
Now, We still stuck with ticker support ( over 1 week) and don't know how to fix !
