Hello All!
I can not access a dataset in a given workspase, however I have both, a viewer permission and build option. The dataset is not showing up at all. The same setup worked some weeks ago. Did something changed in the background?
Thanks,
Peter

Hi @varpet ,
Is this a "old" "Classic" workspace? in V2 Workspaces they are "Viewer rights". If so, I'm not sure this will work, you may need to upgrade the Workspace to V2.
see Upgrade classic workspaces to the new workspaces - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
See if that changes things.
Other than that check your Admin has not restricted Dataset Access accross workspaces in tenant setting, which I think will stop the Dataset showing up in Power BI Desktop.
I have also found a similar post, please refer to it to see if it helps you.
