I have a .pbix with some data regarding leads and I wanted to add some ML to predict whether the lead is likely to buy…
I have experience in R, but not that much in Power BI.
(If I were to use only R, it is pretty simple since my dataset would be a .csv file and all computation is done locally…)
In my .pbix I am consuming live data from an SSAS. (I have Power BI premium).
I have the below questions:

Hi, @Anonymous
You can run R in live SSAS.
The scene of R used in powerbi:
Use R in Power Query Editor - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Create Power BI visuals using R - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Since your data source is live ssas, then we don't talk the first feature. As for the second feature, you can try it and use R to create forecast data in visual.
Create advanced analytics and visualizations using R scripts - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Of course, you can also try to use the ML function in premium, here are some tutorials for reference:
Tutorial: Build a Machine Learning model in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Use Machine Learning and Cognitive Services with dataflows - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
If you still have problem, please feel free to ask me.
