Hi All,
I've created a set of report level bookmarks using the Desktop and published the report to Power BI Service. I would like the bookmark panel to be open when a user accesses the report through the Power BI Service or as an App. I can't seem to find a way to have the bookmark panel visible when navigating to the report or the app even if I saved the report with the bookmark panel open. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi @emsrc ,
Hi @emsrc ,
There's no way to have it open by default, because the Bookmarks pane is a a part of Power BI Desktop's design interface, but not an actual component of the report.
The best option would be to have labelled buttons tied to bookmarks (either on a landing page or place on a report tab itself), so that users can travel between views as needed.
"Bookmarks" is not visible in default views
Wish it is helpful for you!
Best Regards!
Lucien
this cant be done unlikely the filter panel, you only use it on power bi desktop to configure the bookmarks on the report and use them on marks on it.
you could submit this as an ida for the team and community to vote on it to make it possible.
