Best practice for using Python on Power BI service (enterprise gateway)?

Has anyone figured out a good way to be able to use Python in Power BI service with enterprise gateway? It seems the built-in Python coder is only available on personal gateways. We need a process that works in production environments and cannot be doing manual updates all the time.

I looked into Azure Machine Learning which seems like it might work. Anyone got this to work or is there something else we should be looking at using?

Hi @Anonymous ,

It is not supported to implement schedule refresh via on-premise Data Gateway (Enterprise Gateway) for Python in Power BI Service currently.

Here is an idea about this issue, and you can vote it up to improve the Power BI.

Best Regards,

Icey
