Hi,
MyPowerBI service is in a different Azure Directory than the DevOps repository and therefore I cannot see repository from PBI workspace. Same user is used to login in both services and moving the repository and the pbi subscription is not an option.
How can I make Power BI see a DevOps repository from another Azure Directory?
@v-kaiyue-msft thank you for your answer.
I should have specified that is is within the same company, I use the same user for both. Basically we have a DEV directory where the Azure DevOps resides and another PROD directory where PowerBi capacity resides. To access both I use the same user, however, in Power BI workspace I cannot see the DevOps from the DEv directory.
Hi @croytm ,
You can collaborate with colleagues across organisational boundaries through B2B.
Power BI supports sharing content with external guest users through Microsoft Entra Business-to-Business (Microsoft Entra B2B). By using Microsoft Entra B2B, your organisation can enable and manage sharing with external users from one central location.
The Invite external users to join your organisation setting controls whether Power BI allows external users to be invited to join your organisation. When external users accept the invitation, they become Microsoft Entra B2B guest users in your organisation. They appear in the People picker throughout the Power BI experience.
More details can be found in the documentation:
Distribute content to external guest users with Microsoft Entra B2B - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Enable B2B external collaboration settings - Microsoft Entra External ID | Microsoft Learn
