Hi,
I have designed few reports which fetches data directly from Azure DW.
While deploying i have selected use cloud connection insted of gateway as I though both being MS cloud offering they might talk well together directly.
So far on desktop everything had worked pretty much well except few instances of errors.
Once i deployed on power BI web I'm having almost 75% error rate.
usual error:
@dilkushpatel I am not 100% sure but vaguely remember coming across this. If you have date time field in your reports can you try changing it to Date and see if that works ? I think there is some bug with mappings using DirectQuery. As I said not 100% sure.
Hi @ankitpatira
Renamed majority of datetime columns to Date still no significant difference.
Thanks for the advice though.
Some of my tables are very wide in terms of number of columns, could that be one issue behind slowness?
Even on desktop app it takes 2-3 minute sofr data to come up.
I have removed few rows and renamed few using desktop tool so does that add some complexity to query performance?
Thanks,
Dilkush
