I have a paginated report with parameters. I created a blank report and added the paginated report using the Paginated Report visual.
The issue I'm facing is: the parameter dropdown only appears when I click on it.
Is there a way to have the parameter dropdown shown by default when the report loads?

@v-mdharahman , The issue is that our client doesn’t want to click on the Parameters button they want the dropdown to be visible by default. However, as you mentioned, there’s currently no option to achieve this. So, I don’t think there’s anything we can do at this point. Thanks for your detailed response.
Hi @Asutosh27,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum. I understand you're using the Paginated Report visual in a Power BI report and you're looking to have the parameter pane automatically expanded when the report loads.
Currently, the Paginated Report visual in Power BI does not support auto-expanding the parameter pane by default. This is by design the parameter pane stays collapsed to provide more space for the report content, and users have to manually expand it if they want to change parameter values.
That said, you can try to use report defaults, if your parameters have default values set in the paginated report, the report will render automatically using those values, and users can still click to change them. Or provide guidance by addingh a text box or shape in the Power BI report near the Paginated Report visual with a note like “Click the arrow to choose filters,” so users know how to interact with the parameters.
If I misunderstand your needs or you still have problems on it, please feel free to let us know.
Best Regards,
Hammad.
