Automatic Dataset Append Process?

Hi all, 

I have a snapshot dataset returning a summarised table, essentially one record with a timestamp and many measures. I have a task to keep the history of these snapshots, which is not practical to implement in a data warehouse for various reasons. 

I wonder if I can implement an automation process in Power BI Service (perhaps, using Flow?) to schedule a refresh of this dataset and append the results to another table or another dataset. 

Has anyone solved a similar task? Thanks!
