Auto refreshing just one table from a dataset that connects to a OneDrive Excel Workbook

Hi,

I have a report, where all, but one, tables import data from Excels on my hard drive. The one remaining table pulls data from Excel located in my company's OneDrive.

I'd like to know if there is any way to have that one OneDrive table refresh automaticaly in the dataset after publishing the report?

I know that it can be done with a gateway and schedule refresh functionalities. Dataset then autorefreshes all tables - my local ones and the OD one at the same time. Problem is, I don't have my PC on at all times. The OneDrive table should refresh independently from the others that would be refreshed only on demand.

Let me know if you need any more details.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor English.

HI @bartosz_lukasia ,

First, don't apologize for poor English - your English is great!  Second, there is not a way to do this at this time.  I did find this idea that you can vote for though: Microsoft Idea · refresh only one data source out of several (powerbi.com)

I would appreciate Kudos if my response was helpful. I would also appreciate it if you would Mark this As a Solution if it solved the problem. Thanks!

Thanks Collin,

Looks like I'll be moving with all my Excells to OneDrive then.

Which, actually, as I think about it now, might be a good thing. Those beasts have grown lately and I've noticed that files in cloud work a lot faster.

Thanks again for you help!
