Auto refresh dataset from excel stored in OneDrive business and sharepoint list

Hi,

I can't find any solution to automatically update my dataset made of data from an excel document stored on a OneDrive and data from a sharepoint list.

Since both are online data, it might probably exist a solution but I can't find out.

When I modify my excel for example, nothing happens on my dataset and report. I have to use power BI desktop, manually update and then upluad to apply changes, but I want to make this step automatic.

I also tried using flow, but it doesn't work.

I also have an error message about missing credentials when I try to update my dataset from app.powerbi.com, but when I go to my dataset setting the credential option (under gateway) is grey and not clickable.

Any idea ?

Nevermind, I deleted everything and made it again from scratch, it now works.

Hello @Anonymous

If it doesn't work for the next time, you can have a look at the below Microsoft documents.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-desktop-file-onedrive

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-excel-file-onedrive
