Auto-Refresh for Linked Dataflows Across Workspaces

Hi,

I have a couple of Dataflows used for ingestion, placed in a Source Workspace which is restricted to only few users as Admins. I have created Destination Workspace and in that i have added the same Dataflows using linked Dataflows option. Users have View access rights to this Workspace.

My question is, if the data in the Dataflows (used for ingestion) in the Source Workspace auto-refreshes, would these changes reflect in the linked Dataflows in this Destination Workspace i.e. will the linked Dataflows get refreshed automatically with the new changes? I have setup Scheduled Refresh times on each Dataflow in the Source Workspace, so i don't want to setup refresh again for the linked Dataflows in Destination Workspace. Is there an alternative solution?

I am on an Office 365 E5, Power BI Pro account.

N.B: please note that in each linked Dataflow table, i have disabled load for each table and just created reference tables, to avoid creating computed entities.

Refresh chaining only happens for consuming dataflows within the same workspace, and when those Linked Tables have Enable Load checked. Workspace must be backed by Premium Capacity.

You can use the dataflow Actions and Triggers in Power Automate to orchestrate refreshes.

Seems there is no other option for refreshes to happen for linked dataflows other than having a Power BI Premium account. Not worth having a Power BI Pro account as it seems to have a lot of limitations for a Pro account. 😞
