Hello, we have a Power BI App and we have multiple audiences. Is it somehow possible to get Audience / Power BI App metadata so that we can get the data and build a access transparency report? We want to monitor who has access to which reports.
Hi @akshaypatil9494,
Thank you for posting your query in the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum, and thanks to @lbendlin & @Zanqueta for sharing valuable insights.
Could you please confirm if your query has been resolved by the provided solutions? This would be helpful for other members who may encounter similar issues.

Honestly, I dont know if there is any way to get this data automatically. I did manual copy-paste of everything from the Power BI app as a one-time activity.
Hope that microsoft builds something soon.
Hello @akshaypatil9494,
Thanks for the update and I completely understand.
At the moment, manual copy-paste is the only available method to capture App Audience access because Power BI does not expose this metadata through any REST API, Admin API, or activity logs.Your workaround is a valid approach for a one-time snapshot, and many customers use the same method until Microsoft provides an official way to access App Audience information.
We recommend sharing this requirement on the Ideas site so the product team can prioritize it. Features with more community votes are more likely to be considered for future updates:

Not possible. Long standing gap that Microsoft doesn't care about despite multiple tickets. Raise your own ticket please. If you have a Pro license you can open a Pro ticket at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/newsupportticket/powerbi
Otherwise you can raise an issue at https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues .
