App not updating reports even after pressing update app

Hi all

I have recently published a new version of my report to my premium workspace, where the report also is part of the workspace App.
The updated report works in Power BI desktop, as well as Power BI services when opening it directly from the workspace.

I have had personal bookmarks which I deleted (it was a filter that needed to be changed, so I thought I could possibly interfere). 
But no matter how many times I update the App it will not load the latest filter changes to the app. 
again it works with all built in bookmarks or just in general when using the Power Bi desktop or opening the app from the workspace.

Anyone seeing similar challenges?

Yes I have. I had to republish my report to the service then re update the App to get it straight.
