Anyway to rename a measure or create new measure when using SSAS Tabular data source?

I need to rename Total Revene to SALES for a report.

However, I can not seem to find anyway to accomplish this.

Is there a way to make a new measure and just point it to the old?

Not sure why just renaming for the given report is not an option as Excel supports this.....

Hey @OneWithQuestion,

You can use the SELECTCOLUMNS function to achieve this:

Measure 1 = SELECTCOLUMNS( 'Table', "New Column Name", 'Table'[Column])

Hope this helps,

Alan
