Is there a way that i can see the underlying data when we double click on the pivot table measure value in Analyze in Excel feature.

You will see all the data that is contained in the data model when double clicking on a measure.

What underlying data are you referring to?

I am getting the below error message in excel when i am double clicking on the measure value in a pivot view.This pivot view has bee created using Analyze in excel option in Power BI Service

Error Msg-"DirectQuery error: MDX/SQL operations are not supported in DirectQuery mode."

Hi there

Thanks for the error message.

What it means is that you cannot connect with Excel to a DirectQuery data source.

Analyze in Excel only works with Imported datasets. Or if you have got an Analysis Services that you can access directly not via the Power BI Service.
