I am trying to roll out some self serve reports for our users but the analyze in excel bug I am experiencing is blocking me.
Let's say I have two filters in my pivot table for Region and Country, when a user selects 'Europe' from the Region filter I would expect only the countries within Europe to be available in the Country filter, but this doesn't happen. When I select 'Europe', the data in the pivot table updates to show only data for Europe, but the other filters do not and I am able to select invalid combinations, such as Europe > Canada. Please see the below image as an example, I have selected Europe but can still see non Europe countries
This bug was discussed on this forum way back in 2019 and it's still an issue
This issue is having a huge negative impact on our business, is there a workaround?
