Dear All,
Could you please advise what causes and how to resolve the error message below? It appears when I try to publish a new version of the report from Power BI Desktop.
I also tried to download the newest version of Power BI Desktop, but it seems Microsoft page does not respond:
Could you please advise?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Eeyore2005 ,
Based on the information, there was a problem with the service before, but now can publish reports properly.
You can retry publishing the report.

Hi @Eeyore2005 ,
Are you seeing any errors while you are refreshing the data on desktop?
Thanks,

Hi @Eeyore2005, Hope you are doing good !
For downloading the latest version you can prefer to download it from Microsoft Store. It will help you in future too, updates will come automatically.
Also for the error you can clear the cache. And try to republish the report. (Also you can try to delete any already existing file in the workspace)
To clear cache: Go to settings> Data Load > Data Cache Management option

what's the data sources?
Hi. I would say it's something that happen eventually. The service might have a trouble at that momento, try importing the pbix from the web as alternative instead of publishing from the desktop. You can also try publishing to another workspace in order to check if there is an issue with the overwrite of the report at the workspace.
I don't think downloading the last version is the solution, but It's important to be updated because you never know if there will be a feature that might be making trouble like this.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
