I understand that buttons and bookmarks can be used to show an "expanded down one level" view to the users (Solved: Expand all down one Level in hierarchy - Always vi... - Microsoft Fabric Community) when using x-axis data fields that are fixed and the view is fixed. However, I am building a self-service report and have used field parameters as an x-axis data field. And I have added the same field parameter as a slicer so that the user can select the attribute they want to see in the x-axis.
Additionally, I have provided the ability to multi-select from the slicer. This means every time the user selects multiple fields for the x-axis, they will have to either try and find the disappearing icon OR go through the ordeal of right-clicking the visual and finding the right option to expand down one level. To make matters worse, if more than 2 fields are selected, they would have to do the same for those number of times to expand down all levels in the hierarchy.
Is there no way I can have the visual expand down all levels in the hierarchy by default so that when the users select multiple fields for the x-axis, they can see the intended visual?
I have exactly same problem. Did you find a solution to that?
Hi Rushi,
I am dealing with the same problem, did you ever manage to find a solution?
