Alternative to Full Load with Premium?

We recently updated a source view with 10 additional fields. Our current dataflow is set to incrementally refresh the data (3 yr history / 2 Months recent). 16M rows.

It is my understanding that if the view changes that sources the dataflow, there needs to be a full load to get histroy for all columns, especially the newly added ones. Is there a way partition or make the full load less resource intensive, or is there no alternative or enhanced way to execute the full load, and it should just be scheduled to happen off-hours?
