Some users cannot see a Scorecard published to App, Premium capacity

Hello Community,

I've been searching for a similar issue for a while and coming up empty handed.

We are using Premium Capacity, and I have a user as a Workspace Admin who has created a Scorecard object. The Scorecard has been shared with consumers both with Viewer permissions to the Workspace and as an Object in the published App, where the App permissions are based on Workspace users.  There are at least 10 users for this Workspace/Scorecard with the same permissions, but we have 2 users that see nothing when selecting the Scorecard in the App, and via the Workspace they are directed to the My Workspace instead.

I've had them try different browsers, logging out and back in, opening the App and Workspace via a provided link rather than a saved bookmark.

This is not the Scorecard as a visual in a Report, this is adding a Scorecard within the Workspace, using content within the Workspace already.

I'm stumped on what else to troubleshoot.

Thank you for your ideas!

Jessie.

Hello @Anonymous,

Thank you very much for the reply.  There was not an error message. The first time the user tried to open the Scorecard they were routed to their My Workspace and saw a message that said the did not have access.  The user has Workspace member permissions and we are on Premium so this is why it was confusing. The user tried to open the Scorecard both direct via the Workspace and via the App.  When accessing it via the App, the user sees a blank "create" screen.  The App has many other published objects, so unpublishing at this point would be very cumbersome for this team. Is there any other troubleshooting options we could consider first?
Thank you

Jessie.

Hi @JessieF ,

Do these users have license?

@Anonymous - My apologies for the delayed reply.

The users experiencing the issue do not have a Pro license. The user who published the Scorecard and the App does have a Pro license. The Workspace is on Premium capacity, and it has been our understanding that users accessing content via Premium capacity Workspace do not need a license. The user is able to see other reports via the same Workspace without issue. The Scorecard artifact is the only one giving an issue.

Thank you

Jessie

Hi @JessieF ,

I want to confirm something with you. There is no error message, just no content is displayed when user select scorecard in App, right?

If it is, please try to update the app or unpublish and create a new app, i test it in my Power BI Service Portal, it works well.

Thanks for your efforts & time in advance.

Best regards,
