Adding users to RLS

Hi,

I had published a report in Power BI services with roles. Now when I am trying to add a mail id for a role I am Unable to add as it is showing following  Error "One or more email addresses could not be validated". Kindly help me on this solve.

Can you please confirm whether the user/dl is part of the AD?

Usually this error pops up when the DL/user is not present in AD

Thank you for your Reply, I am checking the saem whether the user is part of AD or not.

I want to let you know the same user has access for the workspace already but when I am trying to add the user for the role then the error occured. Is that possible if the user is not a part of AD also can have access for workspace?

Hey,

There might be a possiblity wherein the user was earlier present in organization because of which we could add him in workspace, but now he is no longer part of Org/AD because of which you are uanble to add him in role but whenever an account gets removed from AD, it still remains in Power BI workspace

Thanks for your information, I had checked that the user/ID is part of AD but still I am unable to add the same user/ID to the roles. Kindly let me know if we can do anything to add the user/ID to the roles.
