Adding Members to RLS

Hi everyone, 

I am starting out the RLS for my Power BI project. I am stuck though. 

I created a security role in Desktop, but when I move over to workspace to assign it an email it is not showing up. Am I doing this in the wrong order or am I just missing something?

After you created the roles in Power BI Desktop and assigned the rules, did you republish the PBIX?
