2 node cluster gateway setup

Hi

How to do 2 node cluster Power BI gateway setup. Currently the existing dashboards should be moved to 2 node cluster. I have not done any gateway activity till now

Your prompt response is really appreciated,

Hi @mohsum09,

I don't think configuring Gateway on multiple servers(in order to use the automatic failover functionality) is supported currently. Here is a similar idea shared on Power BI Ideas forum. You can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature. Smiley Happy

Hi,

I am also trying to set up a second cluster node. We have an internal server and client-server and we want to have the data in our client workspace but I am not able to add a second node to the cluster that contains the client server.

Is there a way to achieve that? if not is there an idea?

For consultants, this structure doesn't make any sense.

Best,
J.

Hi

Please help me in understanding to setup a Power BI gateway for a  2 node cluster server. I have never done the Gateway setup. I would need to migrate the existing gateway to 2 node cluster.

Your prompt response would be really appreciated.

Sowmya
