I have a report that uses 2 different databases as sources in the dataset. They play nice when working in desktop. When I upload to the power BI service to publish, they do not and I cant them to work together. I can publish the report using each database source on its own but not together-any thoughts?
It sounds like you need a Power BI Gateway installed. What type of sources is your dataset connected to?

One is a direct query to a cloud database using snowflake and the other connects via import to an SQL database server
Do you have a Gateway installed on-prem for the SQL Sever source?

Yes I do. As I stated earlier, I can publish each datasource individually, but they do not work together when I combine them.
