2 Different Datasets Published, Same Base URL, Differnet User Login > Automatic Update Fails

Hello,

I have two pbi files uploaded to Power BI Online.

Both share the same base url for the service (odata) but the credentials are different on each power bi file. The data models are slightly different.

Both pbi are working properly on Power BI Desktop.

I have published them to Power Bi Online and set up Automatic Refresh (credentials and periodicity (6 times per day)) with Power BI Pro.

What seems to happen is that Power BI Online is storing the same credentials for the 2 datasets.

When I update Dataset A credentials, Dataset B stops updating (show error) , and viceversa.

Thanks

Sergio

I have the answer:

This scenario is not supported in Power BI. Credentials are stored for base url's.
