There is a cell with the formula today function which is been used in multiple columns. Every time I refresh the data I get the error as '

1 query is blocked by the following error:

Data

The column '04/02/2024' of the table wasn't found.'

Tried creating a column in power query with today function but that seems not working too. Can anyone pls help me figure it out.

1. Are you saying that the column in question is coming all the way from the SOURCE?

    Yes, its a cell with Today function. I will attach the screen shot of the data source how it appears on the excel file.

2. and what do you need the column for ?

    Technically this is not a column but Today function is entered next to a header. Cannot move this to another cell as this function is used in other columns to get start date, end date, contract end date etc.

This is a vacancy dashbard that I am creating so this needs an auto refresh everyday.

I see, that the issue. It is a calculated column(measure) in a header. Not good. Calculated columns and Measures in Excel are not very welcomed in Power BI, better create them in Power Query or by using DAX from Raw data in Power BI. That's what PQ and DAX are meant for.

So better fix it in PQ or by Using DAX.

There is a column in the data source with 'today' function. As this formula is used in many other columns it cannot be removed as well. I have already created the dashboard but when I manually refresh the data. It gives me the above error. The data source is been updated every day. Hope the question is clear. If need more details kindly let me know and I can explain more. Thanks
