SQL Error [24559] [S0001]: Data Manipulation Language (DML) statements are not supported for this ta

Hi, I created a SQL Database in Fabric and I wanted to insert some records into a table via JDBC. I get "SQL Error [24559] [S0001]: Data Manipulation Language (DML) statements are not supported for this table type in this version of SQL Server.". The same statement works if  I run it inside of Fabric SQL Database SQL console. Any ideas? Is this documented somewhere? Thanks

You cannot use DML via the SQL analytics end point.

Normal database connection does support DML

You cannot use DML via the SQL analytics end point.
