set a password on the generated .pdf file with report builder

Dear all,

im not sure if this is the right place to ask about the report builder. But when you are using report builder can you set a password on the pdf that is generated from the report builder. 

the password needs to be dynamically (Based on a field in the database) set on each .pdf file.

No, paginated reports do not support generating password protected PDF files. I did a quick search to see if there were any 3rd party rendering extensions that might support this but all I came across was the following Stack Overflow post https://stackoverflow.com/questions/373718/password-protected-pdf-excel-reports-using-sql-reporting-... where they could not find any either.

Although you could maybe output the PDF files to a folder and maybe write some script to add a password if Adobe has a scripting API for this.
