Hello Experts-
I have around 40+ reports on Power BI Report Server.
They are in import mode and pointed to SAP HANA Database.
All are scheduled to refresh in 15 mins.
In many of the reports I am getting error as "The connection either timed out or was lost"
Request you to please help.
Thanks!
Hi @Anonymous ,
According to your description, it may be caused by the excessive number of refreshed reports and excessive memory pressure. For more details:Troubleshoot scheduled refresh in Power BI Report Server - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Or check whether the credential information of the data source is invalid, which can also cause such problems.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry

Hello @v-henryk-mstf - Thanks for you reply.
I have checked memory of server. It has 64 GB RAM and average usage is around 70%.
Credentials are correct as we are facing this issue in some of the reports not in all. Some are getting successfully refreshed.
Please let me know how I can get detailed error information.
As attached in screenshot that is the only information present in the error.
Looking forward for your reply.
Thanks in Advance!
I suggest you contact the admin of the HANA system. It sounds like the issue might be at that end. If you have 40+ reports refreshing every 15mins you might be hitting some sort of connection limit.
