Power bi storage mode

Hello Team,
Please see below scenario
If any one would have come across cross

we are using data source “Oracle sql developer”
Having count of rows more then 35 lakhs as of now
However,
1)we tried first connecting data with direct query mode, created parameters on given fact table with date column
published report on PBI services
2)changed data sets settings to large data sets.
3)opened same resport on Power BI desktop
4)changed Power BI Storage mode from “Direct mode to “import”

(It took 1 hour to load 33 rows still it is taking large amount of time)

Kindly suggest if any work around on such scenarios.

Caption : direact query is having few limitations in reference to Transformations
So we need to use connectivity as Import mode.

@Gayatrisalvi It took 1 hour to load 33 rows or 33 lakhs rows? I would suggest using incremental refresh. Once the entire dataset is loaded in import then subsequent refreshes will be very short.
