Hi @Phi

We wanted to follow up and ask if you have submitted a support ticket. Could you let us know if the issue was resolved after creating the support case?

Thank You.

Hi @v-karpurapud

Thanks for the follow up, we have submitted a ticket, but the support said require to provide subscription permission, but as i understand previously without subscription permission also can see the schedule. base on the change log the schedule should be seen without require subscription permission.

Hi @Phi

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

The issue with Scheduled Refresh options disappearing after upgrading to Power BI Report Server May 2025 is a known bug found in some early builds of this release. After the upgrade, reports that previously allowed scheduled refresh may no longer display this option in the Report Server portal.

Microsoft has addressed this problem in the May 27, 2025 build of Power BI Report Server, version 15.0.1118.126. This update restores the Scheduled Refresh feature and supports Import mode reports with stored credentials.

Consider updating Power BI Report Server to the latest May 2025 build (15.0.1118.126 or later). After updating, the scheduled refresh options should reappear without needing to modify your reports.

For more details and to download the latest version, refer to the official Microsoft documentation:

Hi Karpurapu,

Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately we have updated to the latest and this happened.

Hi @Phi

Thank you for your update. Since you have upgraded to the latest Power BI Report Server May 2025 build (version 15.0.1118.126) and the issue with the Scheduled Refresh options continues, consider the below troubleshooting steps:

One common reason the scheduled refresh option is unavailable is if the report is not using Import mode. Scheduled refresh is only supported for reports in Import mode; if your report uses DirectQuery or Live Connection, this option will not appear. Please open the report in Power BI Desktop for Report Server – May 2025 edition, navigate to Model view, and check the storage mode.

Additionally, check the data source credentials. Upgrading Report Server can sometimes result in lost or invalid credentials, which may also hide the scheduled refresh option. To verify, go to the Report Server web portal, find your report, select the dropdown arrow next to its name, choose Manage, and review the Data Sources section to ensure that stored credentials are correctly set up and valid.

Confirming both the data source mode and credentials should help restore scheduled refresh. If the issue remains after these steps, please let us know so we can assist further.

Hi Karpurapu D,

we have double checked both are not the cases, we just workarounfd by changing the URL to manage/catalogitem/listcaching_pbi of the report to view the schedule.

Kindly check if this has been back on the latest update on Jul, in the change log it  mentioned it has been fix on the 27-May release, is tje 9-Jul release back with the issue?

Thanks!

Phiona

Hi @Phi

As of July 2025, there are no official Microsoft documents or release notes indicating that the issue has reoccurred. The document I provided contains the most recent update from Microsoft on this matter.

Thank You.

Hi ,

we already updated to the latest version and the issue still occur. How can this be fix?

Phiona

Hi  @Phi

We understand the inconvenience you are experiencing, especially after confirming that you are on the latest version and that all basic configurations are correctly set. Since you have already validated key aspects such as the report operating in Import mode and the credentials being properly configured, and the issue persists even after updating to the May 2025 build, this suggests a deeper, environment-specific issue or a potential regression. In such cases, we recommend raising a support ticket directly with Microsoft Support for further investigation.

You can submit a ticket through the Microsoft Power BI Support Portal:

Thanks,
Karpurapu D.
