Hi,
At our organization, we have recently stumbled on an issue where the users are prompted the following error when given access to the App.
"
Permission required
You cannot see the content of this report because you do not have permission to the underlying dataset. Please contact the dataset owner to request access.
"
This is the first time we are facing an issue of this sort. We have a workspace meant for collaboration and another for viewing, which has an app published. We provide access to the app using the standard "update app" method, which we have used so far to administer access successfully.
Not sure if it is a bug and when we can expect any resolution on this.
Regards,
P
Not a bug. You are using a composite data model (including someone else's dataset in a different workspace).
All your users need to have access to YOUR app AND to the app that "owns" that other dataset.
